Player Conduct

MEMBERSHIP CONDUCT

All team members will conduct themselves in a professional fashion and will at no time do anything that may tarnish the reputation of their teams and the association. All players and friends of the players will conduct themselves in an orderly and sportsmanlike fashion and will do nothing detrimental to the reputation of the team, the association, and the sport of hockey.

 

Failure by a player, his/her relatives or friends to adhere to the Policies, Rules and Regulations, By-laws of the FHL45, or those of USA Hockey, could result in the revocation of that player’s privileges in the association/organization. Infractions of the Policies, Rules and Regulations and By-laws of the FHL45, or those of USA Hockey by any player, coach and/or manager could result in the suspension and/or dismissal of the involved player, coach or manager.   Specifically:

 

  • Creating a disturbance in or around a FHL45 event.
  • Disruption of a game, verbal attack of officials, throwing of articles on the ice surface, etc.
  • Destruction of property at any FHL45 sponsored function.
  • Misuse of team funds.
  • Conduct not becoming of a representative of FHL45.
  • Non-payment of ice fees.
  • Consistent and excessive absences.
  • Promoting another association or independent team during any/all association events.

 

The above listed items are guidelines only and do not mean automatic expulsion, and in any case above, the BOD and Team Reps must review each case and must conduct a vote for the player expulsion, majority rule.  However, in certain situations, the league board and President reserves the right to act accordingly for any incidents not specifically addressed by the aforementioned rules, up to and including removing a player from the league.
